Within the Convento de la Popa, or the Convent of the Stern are these beautiful arches, in Cartagena, Columbia. They are on the second floor of the Convent which is home to six monks. The Convent gets its name because the hill on which was built looks like a stern of a ship. Founded in 1607 by Augustinian monks, la Popa sits upon the tallest hill in the city and offers beautiful views of the city and Caribbean.
