Looking west toward Utah, the colors of fall are highlighted along the Colorado River near Fruita, Mesa County, Colorado. The Bookcliff Mountains are off in the distance. This area is approximately 18 miles east of the Utah border and over 250 miles west of Denver, CO. Many people speed by this area on Interstate 70 never slowing down to see the beauty of the Grand Vallley.
