Blue Angel #5 soars overhead at the 2018 Luke Days at Luke Air Force Base, Litchfield Park, Goodyear, Arizona. The Blue Angels were filling in for the Thunderbirds who had a scheduling conflict. The Blue Angels entertained over thousands of people during their two day show in Arizona highlighting the future of aviation.
The Blue Angels are the United States Navy's flight demonstration squadron, with aviators from the Navy and Marines. The Blue Angels team was formed in 1946, making it the second oldest formal flying aerobatic team (under the same name) in the world.
