If you visit Panama during the rainy season you will undoubtedly see some incredible lightning storms. This storm over the San Blas Islands on the Caribbean Sea side of Panama was about five miles away from our island but still provided a great show for those of us who were up to watch it. The tiny lights on the horizon are from other inhabited islands in the San Blas. There are 350 islands in the San Blas but only about 50 of the islands are inhabited. A visit to these islands is postcard perfect but to holiday inn shoppers it might be a little to rustic.
