Before the sun rises and the moon fades to a reflection, Venus can still be seen just above the rocking fingernail moon. The calm reflecting Pacific waters bring color and life to the new day.
This image was captured pre-sunrise at Playa Coronado in Panama on the Pacific coast. The moon and Venus are still visible to the naked eye while the sun has yet to crack the horizon. Sherbet colored clouds paint the sky and reflect on the ocean.
