A trio of southern humpback whales make an appearance in Panama Bay, Panama with the city skyline in the background. The gray/blue overcast day made for a perfect dynamic image. The southern humpback whale migrate annually from the waters around Antarctica to the warmer Pacific Ocean waters near Panama to give birth and to conceive. Usually during the months of July thru October whale watching Panama is successful everyday. About 2000 of these mammals are found in and around the waters of the Pearl Islands about one hour west of Panama City, Panama.
