McDonald Creek flows down the mountains toward Lake McDonald in Glacier National Park. The crystal clear waters reflect the blue sky and gray of the granite rocks that surround the creek. The aspen trees have started to turn and a nip of fall is in the air. McDonald Creeks empties into Lake McDonald which is the largest lake in Glacier National Park. The lake is home to a large variety of fish. Grizzly Bears have been spotted along the shores, along with deer and other wildlife. Water exiting the lake flows into the Middle Fork of the Flathead River, a great river for white water rafting.
