A beautiful fall day at the Connected Lakes State Park in Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado. The golden yellow tips of the cottonwood leaves are just starting to change. The blue cloudy sky is wonderfully reflected on the water.
The Connected Lakes State Park is part of the James M. Robb State Park that is in five sections in and around Grand Junction, CO. The various sections of the James M. Robb State Park are along and near the Colorado River as it flows through the Grand Valley.
