An annual tradition in Panama is the "Munecos de ano viejo" or Dolls of the old year or Judas Dolls. These dolls are stuffed with paper and fireworks and at midnight on New Year's Eve the dolls are ignited. This tradition gets rid of all the bad for the previous year and brings good fortune to the new year. Families spend many hours making the dolls, which usually represent a current political figure, an entertainment figure, or a comic/book/fiction character. This duo's sign says, " Have a great year." They are carrying a bottle of wine and a Lowepro camera bag. Must be a great year for photographers.
